2021 was a very successful year for our winery, which once again won several awards.<\/p>\n\n
For the 7th time, the Tschida winery was awarded the Sweet Wine Maker of the Year prize at the International Wine Challenge London<\/strong>. This is the most influential and important wine competition in the world. More than 13,000 wines are tasted blind in three rounds. <\/p>\n\n With Muskat Ottonel Schilfwein 2019 we were able to receive several awards LANDESSIEGER<\/strong> DER BURGENL\u00c4NDISCHEN LANDESWEINPR\u00c4MIERUNG 2021, SALONSIEGER<\/strong> 2021 means best sweet wine in Austria and last but not least Best Sweet Wine of the Year at the AWC 2021.<\/p>\n\n This year, 1,800 samples were submitted to the Burgenland State Wine Awards, more than in the previous year. These were evaluated by 42 tasters in flights of 3, also blind to maintain objectivity. Our Muskat Ottonel Schilfwein 2019 won in the “Noble sweet wines” category. <\/p>\n\n The Salon \u00d6sterreich Wein is considered the world championship in the wine world and has been for over 30 years. Every year, over 1,000 wines are submitted for tasting, of which only around 500 make it to the blind tasting. In this blind tasting, only one winner is chosen in each of 17 categories and can call themselves SALON WINNER<\/strong> 2021. Among them our Schilfwein! <\/p>\n\n The AWC Vienna<\/strong> 2021 (Austrian Wine Challenge) is one of the largest international wine competitions in the world. 12,525 different wines from 44 countries took part. We won two prizes in the categories Best Sweet Wine of the Year and Best National Producer of the Year. <\/p>\n\n
