Our round of introductions continues! Today: Lisa Tschida – the heart of the family.
As the daughter of a long-established Illmitz family, Lisa was also born and raised in Illmitz. Not only was she able to grow up in beautiful Illmitz, but she was also able to gain experience of wine and everything that goes with it at her parents’ winery as a child.
She also met and fell in love with Hans during these early years. Shortly afterwards, the family expanded and their first child was born. To be prepared for the future, they quickly decided to take over their parents’ business and reorganize it. Together they brought a breath of fresh air to the sweet wine scene.
Lisa is not only known for her responsible work and good wines, but also for her excellent bakeries. Because she loves to bake. This not only pleases the grandchildren, but also some of the family. Because nothing goes better with a glass of sweet wine than a little sweet treat.
Like Hans, Lisa Tschida also enjoys drinking Grüner Veltliner from the Wachau, but she also likes to enjoy a Styrian Achterl wine from time to time. It is popularly said that wine is the mirror of a person and Lisa Tschida also puts her family first. She likes to drop everything to spend time with her grandchildren. Likewise, when it comes to cooking, the family prefers to get together in large groups because, according to them, she is the best cook in the world.
