SWEET WINE AND COOKIES, A PERFECT DUO.

Christmas is just around the corner and everyone is getting ready. There’s decorating, shopping, planning and, of course, baking cookies. That’s why we sat down with Lisa Tschida and put one of her favorite recipes on paper. Lisa’s vanilla crescents:

Ingredients:
– 38 dag flour (plain)
– 25 dag butter (thea)
– 12 dag powdered sugar
– 14 dag grated nuts
– 2 egg yolks

Preparation:
Put everything in a bowl and make a dough. Leave to rest for at least half an hour. Then knead the dough again and shape into sticks. Cut thumbnail-sized pieces and shape into croissants. Bake in the oven at 170° – 180° degrees. As soon as the desired browning is achieved, the vanilla crescents can be taken out of the oven. Then briefly turn through powdered sugar mixed with a little vanilla sugar and the delicious vanilla crescents are ready.

Now quickly open a chilled bottle of our Beerenauslese, for example, and enjoy the duo together. Enjoy the taste!
